The step to access therapy is often one we do not consider lightly coming at a time when we feel vulnerable, confused, uncertain or distressed, a time when something in our lives is difficult to understand, challenging to accept or cope with.

The decision to go to therapy or counselling is because we want something to change, we want to feel different about the situation, ourselves or others but have reached a point where we feel we cant change it on our own.

When we make that decision and commitment emotionally and time wise to therapy we want to know that the service we are accessing is able to meet our needs and get us to where we want to be.

At My Sisters Place we are open and transparent regarding all aspects of our therapeutic work.  We feel it is important to everyone wanting to access our service, either as individuals or services that may want to signpost or refer, that we provide information about accessibility and therapeutic effectiveness of our service that helps inform individual choice.

To ensure our services remain informative and transparent this article provides you with information about how effective our Counselling and Therapeutic Services Teams efforts were in supporting our clients during 2017-2018 and our commitment to keep you up to date regularly throughout 2018 to 2019.
