Ethical clothing and homewares online retailer, Cinnamon Junction, have recently partnered with My Sisters Place in a fundraising project at this difficult time for so many.
Kate Iversen, of Cinnamon Junction got in touch having met with MSP last year and learning about the work we do.
Kate said: “One of the aims of CJ is to improve the welfare of the ladies who make our products, although during this Covid 19 crisis, my thoughts are closer to home, and with the ladies who are unable to move out of abusive relationships, due to lockdown. I would therefore like to help in any way I can”.
Over the last few months, all proceeds from their “Perfectly Imperfect” range have been donated to My Sisters Place. This has been great for the Service, especially at such a time of both reduction in income and increased demand as we move out of lockdown. We really value the support of the businesses and people in our community and together we are committed to improving the lives of women affected by domestic abuse in our area.
A massive thank you to Kate- and please do take a look at her gorgeous range here: http://www.cinnamonjunction.com
