Clinical and Volunteer Placement Opportunities
Applications are invited for submission between 1st April to 31st May 2021 for MSP’s Trauma Informed Therapy Service in Middlesbrough. Partnership projects with Recovery Connections for their Trauma Counselling Service in Middlesbrough and other partnership projects with Wearside Women in Need in Sunderland, Washington and Houghton Le Spring.
My Sisters Place Counselling and Therapeutic Services offers fully supervised clinical placements, volunteer counsellor and psychotherapist opportunities for qualified and trainee practitioners looking to gain valuable experience, knowledge and training within a specialist trauma informed service with 18 years experience of providing effective, accessible and responsive therapeutic interventions for survivors of domestic abuse and complex needs.
Applications for clinical/trainees, qualified counsellors, psychotherapists, counselling psychologists, EMDR/Trauma therapists are invited for submission between 1st April 2021 to 31st May 2021.
Placement interviews will take place throughout June 2021.
Successful applicants will be required to complete our 8 Day Specialist Training Programme – ‘Working Therapeutically with Survivors’ and complete a full service induction together with any other training relevant to specific projects.
Training will take place at various dates through July and August 2021 (Dates to be confirmed)
Placements will commence from September 2021.
